Student Spotlights

How do students use funding to support research?

  • Translation, interpreters and language support
  • Photocopies or other reproduction of materials
  • Access to archives and databases that Brown does not already buy access to (for example, FamilySearch.org)
  • Costs associated with access to materials (for example, libraries sometimes charge for sending materials outside of their library system)
  • Expenses related to travel (transportation, lodging, and food) during research trips
  • Costs associated with museum access or public history tours
