Brown Journal of History

The Brown Journal of History is a double-blind, peer-reviewed journal edited by Brown undergraduates and published annually in the spring. It features a collection of outstanding history essays written by Brown students.

Now Accepting Submissions!

The BJH welcomes essays that explore the past in its broadest sense and are grounded in primary-source analysis. Submissions often include seminar papers, honors thesis chapters, or research essays written for Brown courses.
