Jewish history, memory and place, Polish-Soviet relations, communist aesthetics, theories of urbicide, and intellectual history.
Biography
Emily works on the history of architecture and war in twentieth-century Poland. She is particularly interested in writing about the experiences of Jewish architects in Warsaw during and after the Holocaust.
