Biography

Drew received her B.A. in Art History and English Literature from Denison University and M.A. in Decorative Arts, Design History, and Material Culture from Bard Graduate Center. Before coming to Brown she worked as an archaeologist for the National Park Service in Minnesota and Alaska, and as a Repatriation Specialist for the Field Museum. She is interested in how North American Indigenous people, goods, and ideas altered early modern European conceptions of the natural/supernatural world.
