Biography

"My interests lie primarily in the history of Early Imperial China, with a particular focus on but not limited to the Qin and Han period. Specifically, I am currently interested in studying the environmental and geographical impacts on the settlement patterns of Han China, with the use of historical texts, bamboo and wooden manuscripts, and other archaeological findings. Before coming to Brown, I received both my B.A. and MPhil in History from the Chinese University of Hong Kong."
