Biography
"I received my B.A. from Florida Atlantic University and my M.A. from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. At Brown, I will continue studying U.S. empire, with focus on colonial networks of sex trafficking and military prostitution in the Pacific. I am also interested in how Black Americans understood their positioning as both colonial subjects and colonial tools of global U.S. empire."
